These terms cover two things: using this website, and the outline of how our services work. Actual engagements are governed by a signed statement of work, which prevails over anything here.

1. Who you’re dealing with

“AccessPatched” is a trading name of Egghead Labs (“we”, “us”). Contact: legal@accesspatched.com.

2. The free scan

The free scan is an automated review of publicly accessible pages of a URL you ask us to examine, plus a short summary of findings. It is provided as-is, for information: it is not a full audit, not legal advice, and not a conformance assessment. We only scan sites you own or are authorized to request a scan for; by requesting one, you confirm that authorization.

3. Paid services

Audits, remediation, conformance documentation, and monitoring are delivered under a written statement of work specifying scope, price, and timeline. Quotes are fixed and agreed before work starts; the number in your statement of work is the binding one. Payment terms, IP assignment of delivered code (it’s yours upon payment), and confidentiality are set out there.

4. What we don’t promise

We do not and cannot guarantee regulatory outcomes, immunity from complaints or litigation, or “certified compliance”. No such certification exists under the European Accessibility Act, which operates by self-declaration. What we promise is professional work to WCAG 2.1 AA / EN 301 549 using the WCAG-EM methodology, delivered as reviewable changes with an evidence log. Conformance documentation we prepare describes the state of your product at the time of assessment.

5. Your responsibilities

You keep the right to reject any pull request, and the responsibility for what you deploy. Accessibility statements are published under your name, and staying conformant as your site evolves is your responsibility (that’s what monitoring is for, but it’s optional).

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any engagement is capped at the fees you paid us for that engagement in the preceding 12 months, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. This website

Content on this site is provided for general information and may change. Don’t scrape it into your sales-bot; do link to it. All trademarks belong to their owners; naming a vendor (or its FTC fine) is factual reference, not affiliation.

8. Governing law

These website terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction. Individual statements of work may specify a different governing law and dispute forum by agreement.
